All of the albums created on this page were gifts to family and friends over the holidays.

Scrapbooks are a wonderful way to preserve your most cherished pictures and memories. Whether they are digital, traditional or mini, scrapbooks make great gifts and family heirlooms.

CHIPBOARD

BLACK AND WHITE GLAM

This 8 x 8 black and white vintage mini album was created for my glamorous Aunt Linda in Chicago.  I used various papers and embellishments from my local craft store in order to create this vintage look.

RED BABY THEME

This 8 x 8 baby album was created for the granddaughter of a family friend.  She requested that the album have a red theme due to her daughter-in-law’s Asian background.  The entire album was created using various red papers, embellishments, and interactive elements to provide a lot of space for pictures.

FOOTBALL THEME

This football album was created for my friend who has an intense passion for the game.  I specially ordered the papers, chipboard and embellishments from a sports scrapbooking website.

PURPLE VINTAGE ALBUM

This 8 x 8 chipboard album was created for a cousin in Massachusetts whose favorite color is purple.

WEDDING ALBUM

This wedding album was created for my girlfriend Tracie.  I wanted to create an album that was elegant and told the story of their love and wedding celebration.  I used the colors, black, white, cream and red because I felt they would be the perfect colors to create my vision.  The album pages were set up to tell the story of how they met, the day of their wedding, and the reception.  I made sure the bride had enough space on her two pages to place pictures and journal about her preparation for that day.  I also made sure the groom at least had a page to himself as well.  Overall, I think my first attempt at making a wedding album turned out great.  

PAPER BAG ALBUMS

PINK BABY THEME

Inspired by Laura from Follow the Paper Trail

This baby album was created for my cousin who recently gave birth to a baby girl.  I used pink Celebrations paper bags from Michael’s, a baby girl paper pad, various baby girl kits and embellishments throughout this album.  This album also includes many tags within the pockets for additional picture and journaling opportunities.

VINTAGE FLORAL PAPER BAG ALBUM

Inspired by Kathy Orta from Paper Phenomenon

I saw this vintage looking floral stack by K & Company and thought it would be cool to create a mini album out of this pattern.  Since this type of pattern isn’t my usual style, I really wanted to make something special with this stack.  This album was the perfect opportunity for me to use this paper and create something unique.  I love the end result.

SUMMER VACATION VERTICAL PAPER BAG ALBUM

Inspired by Kathy Orta from Paper Phenomenon

This album was created for my nephew who was visiting us from South Carolina for a couple of weeks.  I thought it was a great way to chronicle his visit.  I made sure I used bright primary colors, summer themed papers, and kid friendly embellishments to make the album look fun and bright.  I presented it to his parents at the end of his visit so they could see all of the fun he had while he stayed with us over the summer.

Edgy Rocker Girl Baby Album

This album was created for my niece Ayla.  I decided to make her a baby album that wasn’t your typical soft baby pink girly girl type of mini album.  Therefore, I chose to make her album represent a rocker chic with a girly side. The papers that I chose for this album are bold and funky, yet very pretty.  The main paper stack that I used for this album was DCWV La Bella Rouge.  I also added complimentary papers from various stacks to fill it out.  The embellishments enhance the overall look of the scrapbook and add a nice personal touch.  I also made sure that I included plenty of tags for journaling and extra pictures.  Overall, I love the way this album turned out.  I think that it’s one of my best albums so far.  

TOILET PAPER ROLL

BABY BOY THEME

This album was actually the first mini album that I had created.  I was inspired by the YouTube videos demonstrating how to create this unique album.  It was made with six toilet paper rolls that I had saved and recycled in my home. My nephew as my muse for this album.  I used the All About Boys paper pad and various embellishments to design this album. Since my nephew loves the movie Cars, I made sure I included something from the movie in the album.

YELLOW ELEGANCE ENVELOPE ALBUM

Inspired by Kathy Orta from Paper Phenomenon

This was the first album that I created this summer.  I was so excited to follow Kathy’s tutorial and make this unique and impressive album.  I tried to pick a really pretty paper line for this album.  I wanted paper that would speak for itself without a lot of embellishments.  This album took a lot of work, but it was worth it in the end.  I think my completed album looks really nice.

CHRISTMAS THEME

These cards were created as Christmas gifts for my family on Christmas Day.  I thought it would be a great way to chronicle the holiday season.  Each card was created with card stock, Christmas themed papers, and embellishments that I purchased from Michaels.  They make great quick and easy gifts for any occasion.
